Service Description

These classes are designed for experienced practitioners who have a solid foundation in yoga and are ready to deepen their practice both physically and spiritually. This course is intended to challenge participants and expand their understanding of yoga beyond the basics. Participants will explore the more intricate aspects of yoga, including advanced variations of postures, sequencing, and the integration of mindfulness and spiritual insights into their practice. The course will include the following: Advanced Asana Practice: Participants will engage in a dynamic and challenging asana practice that explores advanced variations of traditional postures. This includes arm balances, inversions, deeper backbends, advanced twists, and more complex balancing poses. Emphasis will be placed on alignment, strength, flexibility, and breath control. Pranayama and Breathwork: Participants will deepen their understanding and practice of pranayama techniques. They will explore advanced breath control techniques such as Kapalabhati, Surya Bhedana, and Chandra Bhedana. The focus will be on refining breath awareness, energy management, and the subtle effects of pranayama on the body and mind. Meditation and Mindfulness: The course will delve into advanced meditation techniques and mindfulness practices. Participants will explore various meditation styles, including focused concentration, insight meditation, mantra repetition, or visualization. The emphasis will be on developing a deepening sense of self-awareness, presence, and clarity of mind. Advanced Sequencing and Flow: Participants will learn to create and explore advanced yoga sequences that challenge their physical abilities and stimulate deeper levels of awareness. They will explore creative transitions, advanced variations, and the intelligent sequencing of postures to create a well-rounded and transformative practice. Yoga Philosophy and Spiritual Insights: The course will delve into deeper philosophical concepts of yoga, such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Bhagavad Gita, or other ancient texts. Participants will explore the spiritual dimensions of yoga and how to integrate yogic principles into their daily lives. Advanced Practices and Techniques: Participants will be introduced to advanced practices such as Bandhas, Mudras, Kriyas, and advanced techniques on concentration. Self-Inquiry and Self-Reflection: The course will provide opportunities for self-inquiry and self-reflection, encouraging growth.
