Service Description

We offer sessions on 5 different yoga styles. This is perfect for those who have been practicing yoga, but feel they need more guidance and experience. This course is suitable for practitioners who have a regular yoga practice and a basic understanding of yoga postures and terminology. It is designed to challenge and inspire individuals to expand their practice, deepen their connection with themselves, and continue their yoga journey. The course will also include the following: Asana Practice: Participants will engage in a dynamic and challenging asana practice that includes a wide range of postures. The sequences will incorporate standing poses, inversions, backbends, twists, balances, and more. Emphasis will be placed on proper alignment, transitions, and building strength and flexibility. Pranayama and Breathwork: Participants will explore various pranayama techniques to deepen their breath awareness and enhance energy flow. This may include techniques like Ujjayi breath, Kapalabhati, Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), or Bhramari (bee breath). Meditation and Mindfulness: The course will introduce meditation techniques to cultivate inner stillness, concentration, and mindfulness. Participants will learn different meditation styles, including focused attention meditation, loving-kindness meditation, or guided visualization. Yogic Philosophy and Philosophy Discussions: Participants will delve into yogic philosophy and ancient texts to gain a deeper understanding of yoga's spiritual and philosophical foundations. Philosophy discussions may cover topics such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Eight Limbs of Yoga, the concept of Ahimsa (non-violence), or the power of intention. Sequencing and Flow: Participants will explore the art of sequencing and flow, learning to create well-rounded yoga sequences that target specific areas of the body or focus on particular themes. They will understand the importance of linking breath with movement and how to create a smooth and coherent flow in their practice. Yoga Anatomy and Alignment: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the body's anatomy as it relates to yoga practice. They will learn about the alignment principles and how to apply them in different poses, ensuring a safe and effective practice. Self-Reflection & Personal Growth: The course will encourage self-reflection and growth, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for participants to explore their own selves.
