Service Description

Our Yoga for Flexibility and Mobility classes are designed to help you enhance your range of motion, improve flexibility, and promote overall mobility in your body. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, these classes offer a safe and supportive environment to explore and deepen your flexibility in a balanced manner. Classes will include the following: Gentle Warm-Up: Each class begins with a gentle warm-up to prepare the body for movement. This may include gentle stretches, joint mobilization exercises, and breath awareness techniques to bring awareness and openness to the body. Dynamic Stretching: The classes incorporate dynamic stretching techniques that focus on lengthening and activating different muscle groups. Participants will engage in flowing movements and sequences that gently and progressively stretch and mobilize the body. Targeted Stretching and Asanas: The classes will focus on specific areas of the body that tend to be tight or restricted in movement, such as hips, hamstrings, shoulders, and spine. Through a variety of yoga poses, participants will explore deep stretches and gradually increase their range of motion in a safe and mindful manner. Breathwork and Mindfulness: The classes emphasize the integration of breathwork and mindfulness techniques to enhance the mind-body connection. Participants will be guided to breathe consciously and deepen their awareness of the sensations and movements in their bodies, facilitating a deeper release and opening. Core Strengthening: Building a strong core is essential for overall mobility and stability. Our classes incorporate core-strengthening exercises to support healthy movement patterns and improve balance and posture. Strengthening the core muscles helps to protect the joints and allows for greater freedom of movement. Balance and Coordination: Flexibility and mobility are enhanced when combined with balance and coordination. Our classes integrate balancing poses and coordination exercises to challenge and improve stability and overall body control. Relaxation and Integration: Each class ends with a period of relaxation and integration to allow the body and mind to absorb the benefits of the practice. Participants will be guided through a calming and restorative sequence of poses or final relaxation, promoting a sense of deep relaxation.
